Fozmula Team at Cancer Research UK Big Hike Peak District 2021

Fozmula is excited to announce our participation in the Cancer Research UK Big Hike Peak District 2021 that will take place on 18th of September.

The team will be joining hikers all over the U.K. on a 25.8 miles trail across Peak District in a team effort of raising awareness and funds for life-saving research and cancer relief support.

Starting and ending at the Bakewell Showground, the team team will take on this personal physical challenge with the greatest determination, united in a campaign against cancer.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, NGO’s have experienced dramatic declines in their fundraising income, as outdoor events have been put on pause for over a year before lockdown restrictions have been finally eased in May. Despite the negative impact of COVID19 across the industry, the charity continued to make great progress by redesigning their way of coordinating cancer services. It’s time they get more help!

In order to achieve their ambitious plan of seeing three quarters of people surviving the disease by 2040, this life-changing missions needs to be backed up by an intense public support.

Fozmula would like to ask clients, suppliers, family, friends and supporters to help us reach our fundraising goal by sponsoring any team member at the link below:

25.8 miles is not an easy task and the team takes the training plan very seriously; see below!

Help us help more!

In loving memory of our dear colleague, Ian Cruikshank.

About Cancer Research UK:

“Cancer Research UK is a cancer research and awareness charity in the United Kingdom, formed on 4 February 2002 by the merger of The Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.

Its aim is to reduce the number of deaths from cancer. As the world’s largest independent cancer research charity it conducts research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Research activities are carried out in institutes, universities and hospitals across the UK, both by the charity’s own employees and by its grant-funded researchers. It also provides information about cancer and runs campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the disease and influencing public policy.

Their vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.” (https://www.devex.com/organizations/cancer-research-uk-61166)
