S282 Capacitance Type Oil Level Switch with DIN connector
The S282 is an active device designed to give an alarm signal if oil falls below, or rises above, a preset level. It can be specified with a delay to eliminate false alarms due to turbulence.
Containing a factory programmable microprocessor, the switch offers sink to ground or source voltage output. Its small footprint with limited intrusion into the tank means a reduced risk of damage and a wide range of customer specifiable options make it suitable for most applications.
Description
The S282 is a horizontally mounted capacitance switch for sensing diesel/oil levels. Fitted with a bayonet style DIN connector all models have a factory programmable time delay to reduce the risk of intermittent switching through liquid turbulence. The S282 is available with a wide selection of mounting threads and switching outputs.
